Vahan Stepanyan, Chief Executive Officer

Vahan Stepanyan has been the Chief Executive of the CDA since April 2006. After graduating from Yerevan State Economic University, he was closely involved in the development of the securities market regulation framework working at the Ministry of Finance (1998-99) and then the Securities Commission of the Republic of Armenia.

In 2001, Mr. Stepanyan joined the Central Depository of Armenia – first in the capacity of the Head of Issuer Relations Department, and then as the Deputy CEO.

Vachik Gevorgyan, Head of Depository System Servicing Department

Vachik Gevorgyan joined CDA in March 2013 to assume the responsibility of Head of Depository System Servicing Department – mainly responsible for implementation and development of new business model for securities registration and settlement system. Mr. Gevorgyan started his career as financial analyst in Investment Department, and afterward in Project Financing Department of Armswissbank cjsc.

Vachik Gevorgyan joined CDA in March 2013 to assume the responsibility of Head of Depository System Servicing Department – mainly responsible for implementation and development of new business model for securities registration and settlement system. Mr. Gevorgyan started his career as financial analyst in Investment Department, and afterward in Project Financing Department of Armswissbank cjsc. Since 2011 he held researcher position in Financial System Stability and Development Department of Central Bank of Armenia.

Mr. Gevorgyan graduated from Armenian State University of Economics and also holds a PHD degree in Finance.

Tigran Petrosyan, Head of Pension System Servicing Department

Tigran Petrosyan joined the Central Depository of Armenia in July 2012 to assume the responsibility of leading the Pension System Servicing Unit – a new function within the central depository related to the implementation of a funded pension system in Armenia. Mr. Petrosyan started his career as a Leading specialist, afterwards Chief Specialist at Legal department of the RA Ministry of Industry and Trade (current Ministry of Economy). Since 2008 he headed Division of Military Industry, starting from 2011 he headed Department of Military Economic Progams of the Ministry.

Ruzanna Naghashyan, Chief Accountant

Ruzanna Naghashyan has been Chief Accountant at Central Depository of Armenia since 2005. She coordinates all the matters related to Accounting, including financial control and reporting.

Ms. Naghashyan started her career as engineer-technologist in Yerevan Scientific Research Institute of Mathematical Machines in 1985. In 1998 she joined the "National Centralized Register" state-owned company, which was later reorganized to "Central Depository of Armenia" OJSC.

Ruzanna Naghashyan has been Chief Accountant at Central Depository of Armenia since 2005. She coordinates all the matters related to Accounting, including financial control and reporting.

Armine Avetisyan, Legal counsel

Armine Avetisyan  has extensive experience working with government and banking sector institutions. Armine started her career as a legal adviser at "Armswissbank" CJSC. From 2012 to 2014 she continued her work at "VTB BANK (Armenia)" CJSC and than at the Ministry of Finance of RA as Deputy of the head of Law Department.
